BEING A COACH
Being a coach is a rewarding experience because you are helping our youth develop and achieve their goals. This is an opportunity to make a difference and see first-hand the impact of your leadership and guidance. It's also a chance to give something back to the community by having a positive impact on the growth of our youth.

FAQs
Q: What are the available volunteer roles?
A: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Parent Representative and Mandated Reporter
__
Q: I volunteer for other sports organizations and have completed similar courses for them. Do those certifications carry over to Sansei Baseball League?
A: If the program you completed previously is the SAME as what Sansei Baseball is requiring to be completed, the certificate will be accepted.
- Ex. You completed an NFHS Concussion in Sports certification for a different league, Sansei Baseball will accept this certification as it is the same course we are requiring.
- Ex. You completed an AYSO Safe Haven certification, Sansei Baseball will NOT accept this certification as it is NOT the same course we are requiring.
__
Q: When can I complete my live scan?
A: Sansei Baseball league is currently awaiting administrative action from the CA Department of Justice that allows the league to receive and review volunteer live scan results. Once the league is granted permission, volunteers will be able to get their live scan completed. More information will be provided in the near future.
__
Q: I have already completed a live scan for other organizations. Can I submit that live scan?
A: No. Unfortunately, AB506 requires each sports organization/league to maintain their own independent files on volunteers. As a result, Sansei Baseball will require all volunteers to get live scanned.
